1. Certification
The Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority, in accordance with MED.D.030, a, 2) and b, 2) from Regulation (EU) 2019/27 amending Regulation (EU) No. 1178/2011 laying down technical requirements and administrative procedures related to civil aviation aircrew pursuant Regulation (EU) 2018/1139 of the European Parliament and of the Council, has approved this course. The refresher training curriculum was in accordance with GM1.MED.0.30, a) from ED Decision 2019/002/R and was approved by the Romanian Civil Aviation Authority with decision no. 29676 dated 25.11.2021.
Romania is an EASA member, so the certificates of completion for courses conducted and issued by authorized/accredited institutions or companies are recognized internationally by all EASA member states.
Arini Eduform SRL is an accredited company that has been providing training in the field of aeronautical medicine since 2020, with a pass rate of over 90%.
2. What you get:
This is a new concept, born from contemporary needs, that will cover essential topics in the field of psychological functioning. The seminar addresses mental health and its relationship to aviation safety, the MIRAP concept, and the use of this tool for mental health assessment, as well as specific topics of interest: stress, workload, and fatigue in aviation, all delivered by lecturers with extensive experience.
Course objectives:
- Review fundamental principles of aeronautical medicine from a mental health perspective
- Workshops that discuss updating medical protocols and EASA/ICAO requirements regarding the specific effects of work in aviation
- Discussion of the latest regulations on the medical fitness of flight personnel.
- Presentation of case studies, relevant incidents, and best practices (workshop)
- Redefining the role of the AME in promoting aeronautical safety
3. What the Mental Health in Aviation Medicine Seminar at Arini Eduform SRL contains and how it is structured

- The MIRAP concept and use of this tool for mental health assessment
- Types of tools for assessment of mental health issues
- Aircrew/ATCO-AME communication in aeromedical consultations
- Topics of specific concern: Stress, workload, and fatigue in aviation
Seminar Structure: The seminar is structured for online delivery.
- It takes place online, in English, during which you will benefit from the input of international lecturers with vast experience in delivering high-performance courses in the field. (Optional Lecturers – link to lecturers button – we still need to decide if we will include this).
- Duration: 6 days
Eligibility Requirements for Seminar Participation
Mandatory:
- The doctor must be a specialist in any medical specialty, except dentistry, and be able to provide proof (specialist doctor certificate).
- Note: For countries that do not have a residency-based medical system, but the doctor is a specialist and works as such, there is a specific procedure to follow, which is available by contacting Arini Eduform staff directly (email: office@arini.ro).
- Time availability to participate online – a minimum of 75% attendance is required.
- Conversational level of English (intermediate).
- Minimum prior certification: Basic Course in Aviation Medicine completed.
Target Audience:
- Class 1, 2, or LAPL Aeronautical Medical Examiners
- Doctors involved in occupational medicine in aviation
- Doctors who have completed the basic course in aeronautical medicine and wish to recertify
Candidate Registration Process:
Candidates are invited to consult the student file where the necessary documents for registration are listed (link to Student’s File button). Documents should be sent in PDF format by email to registration@arini.ro or uploaded to the system via the Registration button window.
Registration can be done during the eligible period, as announced on the website. After the eligible period, registration is possible under exceptional conditions, which will be managed through direct contact via phone or email at office@arini.ro.
For registration you will find the following:

- Upload buttons for documents that support PDF or JPG formats (for photos)
- Forms: where you will find the following: Application Form, Declaration of Own Responsibility, Statement, Form, Professional Training Contract.
Phase one (eligibility)
Student’s File: The student’s file will be submitted with the documents translated into English (for participants from countries other than Romania), in PDF format, and will contain:
- AME Certificate – minimum Basic Course
- EuroPass CV + Annexes:
- Specialist/Primary degree diploma;
- Copy of ID card (CI/Passport);
- Copy of birth certificate;
- (Optional) Copy of marriage certificate, if needed (name change);
- Copy of membership certificate in the College of Physicians/Practice License;
- Declaration of own responsibility (stating where they practice medicine and that they have no prohibition from practicing the profession); a template will be provided.
In phase two (after verification of eligibility documents)
- Letter of intent/registration for the course;
- Professional training contract;
- Proof of payment of the course registration fee.
Course Registration Timeline:
- Submission (upload) of the student’s file.
- Verification of the file by Arini Eduform SRL and, if necessary, a request for additional documents or clarifications.
- Signing of the professional training contract and invoice creation.
Two distinct situations are identified:
- For individuals: The contract and invoice are issued to the individual. The data from the identity document is required, and if the individual has a tax identification code, this will also be needed.
- For legal entities: The contract and invoice are issued to the company. We will need complete information: the full name and address of the company, the tax code, and the name of the legal representative, as well as the bank account.
- Payment of the invoice by the participant and payment confirmation via email to registration@arini.ro.
- Registration confirmation is done by sending a confirmation to the participant’s email address.
- After the course, the participant will receive the physical certificate of completion after the course ends and they pass the exam.
